The twenty-first century has seen an increase in threats to the people of the United States and the values they hold dear. In response the government has seen fit to take special measures to ensure the security of the nation and it's people. Enter the 335th Intelligence Battalion, the "First to Fight"! Formed in June of 2007 and stationed out of Fort Benning, GA, the 335th Intelligence Battalion is the cover for a special joint task force which answers only to the President of the United States. The "Unit", as it's affectionately called by it's members, is composed of the best and the brightest of America's armed forces. Rangers, S.E.A.L. TEAM members, PJ's, DELTA operators, Marine Force Recon, as well as those tagged out of normal units, have all found a calling and a purpose here, greater than any they'd know before. Commanded by Colonel James Wilder, the 335th is the anti-terrorist force of the future. Working every where from Iraq, to China, to Europe, and of course within the US itself, the 335th has proven over the last year to be the most effective special forces unit being fielded by the US military to date. Always kept at the highest level of alert, the members of the Unit can deploy anywhere in the world in less than 18 hours. The primary mission of the Unit is to provide rapid response capabilities anywhere in the world at any time. Working closely with all branches of the US military and with allied governments, the Unit is to provide intelligence gathering as well as pin point offensive capabilities in the war on terror. No matter where the engagement, who the enemy, or how dire the odds, the 335th are always the first to fight!
