- Respond promptly when called for an issue.

- Respond discretely with as little disturbance to the room as possible. (Try to handle the situation in PM if possible.)

- YOU, the moderator, warn the person twice, then boot or gag as needed. A reasonable first boot length is no more than three minutes. There should be RARE exceptions to this.

- Booting for longer than 30 minutes is to be reserved for boot on sight orders, only. Otherwise, a booting is a warning and a cool down period, and will not exceed 30 minutes without Section Leader say so.

- Abuse of authority, or failure to follow site policy, will result in boots being removed.

- Any moderator, room or section, found to be causing problems in other rooms in violation of site policy will have their boots removed.





- Be visibly present in your room on a reasonably consistent basis.

- Be aware of and follow all site rules and policies, including the harassment/stalking policies and procedures.

- Abuse of authority, or failure to follow site policy, will result in consequences that may include up to boots being removed and/or room removal.

- Follow moderator expectations regarding booting (above).

- Any room leader found to be causing problems in other rooms in violation of site policy will have their boots removed





- Be visibly present on the site and available consistently.

- Handle room application approval and room set-up as efficiently as possible.

- Promote the realm and its events and facilitate promotion of rooms and their events.

- Provide dispute mediation at the room and realm level.

- Oversee and assist room moderators and room owners.

- Be aware of, follow and enforce all site rules and policies, including the harassment/stalking policies and procedures.

- Abuse of authority, or failure to follow site policy, will result in consequences that may include up to removal from position.

- Follow moderator expectations regarding booting (above).

- Any section leader found to be causing problems in violation of site policy may be removed.
